Terrifying/Inspiring Thought of the Week

This week, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries declared that we have significantly underestimated climate risk the global economy could face. Our current path has us looking at 50% loss in gross domestic product (GDP) between 2070 and 2090 from the catastrophic shocks of climate change.

We need a huddle. Got to go from being gadflies to becoming a force. The public doesn't know what to do since we don't have an ask that all of the smarties on overshoot and climate change agree on. To get some movement to happen, that's what we need. I am looking to create a conversation to get some agreement -- Geoffrey Deihl is my closest expert connection. He says invite you!!! Are you game? Who would you feel most drawn to being in that conversation?
The dissonance between the topic of climate catastrophe and the metric of GDP is astounding to me
