If you are reading this, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that you are a mammal. Name me any other mammal that works for eight hours in a row, five days a week.
None.
Why then do we do it?
Because we are compelled to.
We can make animals labor for eight-hour days or more as well. But none do it by choice.
But some of them do it without ropes and chains and whips, because they have been conditioned, trained, usually from infancy. Um, isn't that how they get us to do it too?
Oh no, we been domesticated!
