Thanks for paying attention to the damage done by the livestock industry. Alas, the predominant attitude among most degrowth advocates is to bypass this issue. A shift towards veganism is a natural consequence of degrowth, yet for many (perhaps most) degrowth activists, it is not part of the degrowth agenda. I think they're afraid of offending the farmers.

"Financial Modeler’s Manifesto"

This link doesn't work: "This course is discontinued, ECON4135 - Autumn 2009, This web page is not published, The web page is either under construction or out of date"

In addition, "Banking on Climate Chaos 2023" is 404.

Nice start, but you don't go far enough.

"for the betterment of society and the people that make up that society" is a speciesist statement.

It could maintain that human-centric attitude, and yet protect the very natural systems that allow us to exist, by appending, "and the natural ecosystems that allow that society to exist" to the statement.

Or better yet, get rid of "society" completely, perhaps referring to the "society of all plants and animals".

As long as such an oath prioritizes human beings, we'll have "business as usual" for the continued human-centred decline of the planet.
