Personally, I have never liked meetings of any kind much, often inefficient and straying off-topic. When I was on Twitter, a person formed such a group, and it was a free for all with occasional big egos in need of a strong leader to stay on point. There never seemed to be an objective or specifics for taking action. So yes, with caveats I'd say.
I tend to agree. This would be more of a thank you, is there anything people think I should be working on. Way for people to connect. If anyone wants to give speeches I will cut them off.
If it goes well, maybe we do this once or twice a year. If it goes poorly, it would be a one-time deal.
